Following the direction of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Health on the implementation of vaccination against COVID-19, on June 29th and 30th 2021 at Nguyen Hue Primary School and Nguyen Huu Tho Primary School, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City, nearly 500 employees of Sotrans Group and subsidiary companies (Sotrans Logistics, Vietranstimex and Sowatco) have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with the desire to contribute to the whole country’s immunity, towards the Government’s goal of repelling the Covid-19 epidemic in 2021.
In the largest vaccination campaign in Vietnamese history by the Ministry of Health, from 7am the team of Sotrans Group and its subsidiaries gathered very early and expressed their joy and pride as in vaccination priority list. Before that, the company also proactively divided its personnel into small groups presenting at different time frames during the day to ensure safe distancing and avoid overcrowding at the vaccination area.
Employees are consulted and carefully screened by a team of doctors and nurses before injecting to ensure compliance with the guidelines on safe vaccination model of the Ministry of Health. Despite the crowd, under the dedicated guidance of volunteers and medical staff, the social distancing in COVID-19 vaccination was still maintained.
Focusing on employees’ health is a corporate culture of Sotrans Group and its subsidiary companies in order to connect the recruitment process with the effective and long-term employment process, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic response period. Thanks to the support of authorities at all levels and the efforts of urgently approaching the source of vaccines for early vaccination of the Board of Directors, the company’s collective has reduced the fear of epidemics and focused on work; thereby, without interrupting the system operation, maintaining the best service for customers – partners and contributing to the Government in the dual goal of eradicating the epidemic and economic growth.
Previously, even during the outbreak of the 4th wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, Sotrans Group and its subsidiary companies successfully implemented the CSR program – joining hands to support and prevent the Covid-19 pandemic with a series of meaningful activities: the program to support more than 1 billion VND to the Government’s vaccine fund and the program with local authorities to spray disinfectants, propagate people on how to prevent epidemics… to show social responsibility of one of the leading integrated Port Operations, Port Logistics, Transport and Logistics Group in Vietnam.
The members of the Sotrans Group house always believe that Vietnam will soon have enough vaccines for the entire population to quickly defeat the Covid-19 pandemic.
